The Idea
TUFF STUDIO is an independent multidisciplinary creative studio that turns ideas into things — design, art, culture and visual communication for people and brands with something they want to create.
The manifesto is simple: ideas shouldn't stay in your head. They should become things — a brand, a poster, a shirt, a record, a space. F*ck the formula. We make it happen.
The mark pairs a bold wide italic wordmark with a starburst/orbit icon — nostalgia used as strategy, borrowing the visual grammar of classic broadcast without being ironic about it.
Colour runs on Signal Red (#E52128) as the hero, Void and Deep as canvas, Chalk as light ground and Static Blue (#3D55A5) for duotone imagery and details.
Type system: a wide semibold italic display for headlines, DM Sans for subheadings, Inter for body and Futura for labels and navigation.
Voice is direct, fearless and human, extended into a full Instagram system built on Breaking, Feature, Motion and Drop content pillars, plus a grainy, high-contrast poster visual line.
